  1. Backup all of your data to your laptop or cloud before performing any resets.
  2. Before resetting, remove your SIM card and any memory card. If possible, make sure the phone is charged to 100% so that the phone will be powered to complete the reset process.
  3. Follow the instructions below for your model of phone. If your model is not listed please visit the Sony website for further information.

From the Menu

Menu > Settings >Master reset>Reset all>Yes> Enter Lock code (factory default is 0000) >OK> Phone will switch off and restart after reset.

Sony Ericson C902

From the Menu

Menu > Settings > General > Master Reset > Reset All > Continue > Continue> OK.

Phone off - hard reset -from computer.

  • Connect the phone to the computer.

  • Download PC Companion from here: http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

  • After installation, select Support Zone New! and click Start.

  • Next choose Phone / Tablet Software Update and click Start.

  • Click Repair my phone / tablet.

  • Click to Continue.

  • Select the model of the phones.

  • Follow the instructions on the screen.

Sony Xperia Z1 Compact

From the Menu

Settings > Backup & reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Phone > Erase everything.

or

  •  Press the Call button, and type: *#*#7378423#*#*

  • In the menu, selectCustomization Settings > Reset customization.

  • SelectData will be cleared and factory data reset will perform.

  • Select Reset customization and reboot.

Phone off - hard reset

  • Hold the following buttons simultaneously: Power & Power Up.

  • The Recovery menu will appear. Follow the instructions on the screen.
