MobileMuster is pleased to present its 2024 Annual Report, which can be viewed and downloaded here.
It has been another successful year for the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association’s flagship product stewardship program. In FY24 MobileMuster exceeded its government KPI collection targets in the face of unexpected challenges.
In a great outcome, MobileMuster collected 109 tonnes of mobile phones and components, 13.3% more than the previous year and 31.2% more than the government KPI target set for FY24.
We saw strong results from our new Expanded Program which is now completed its second full year of collections. We collected 34 tonnes of expanded program products, which includes modems, landline phones, and more.
Safety and security is a fundamental pillar of MobileMuster’s operations, particularly in the collection and transport of materials, and sustainability remains a core focus. MobileMuster has made tangible contributions to our climate goals by integrating sustainable practices into our operations. In doing so we have retained our carbon neutral certification from Climate Active.
We look forward to continuing our work as we focus on improving and elevating the program in years to come.
